UPDATE: Call for Abstracts deadline extended through May 5, 2023
The National Extension Tourism (NET) Design Team is pleased to announce that it has two open calls:
- The Call for Abstracts for the NET 2023 National Conference, scheduled to take place September 24-27, in Milwaukee, WI. Abstracts will be accepted through
April 24, May 5, 2023. Read the complete call for abstracts here.
- The Call for Award Nominations for four NET Award categories. Award recipients will be recognized at the NET 2023 Conference. Award nominations will be accepted through April 30, 2023. More information on all award categories and application procedures is available here.
This year’s conference theme is “Envisioning the Future of Extension in Tourism.” Conference abstracts are requested in the following categories:
- Economic Impact
- Outreach and Engagement
- Applied Research
- Evaluation
- Case Studies
- Training and Certification
- Academic Research
- Education
- Integrated (Research + Extension)
This year’s NET Award categories include:
- NET Excellence in Tourism Collaborations Award
- NET Excellence in Tourism Programming Award: Individual or Team
- NET Career Achievement Award
- NET Emerging Leader Award
