Agritourism resources for the NET community
A new national agritourism study has been released by the University of Vermont and U.S. Department of Agriculture in partnership with the National Extension Tourism Network. A webinar to discuss the study and its findings is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. EST on Oct. 6, 2026.
The next NET webinar, hosted in partnership with the Global Agritourism Network on October 6, 2026, will focus on the primary concerns and challenges of US Agritourism operators and how they are being addressed.

This report, available from the Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development, presents findings from the 2024 National Agritourism Producer Survey. The survey questionnaire was developed by a team of researchers from Penn State, the University of Maine, the University of Vermont, and Oklahoma State University. The publication is intended to increase access to the scholarship that was shared during the three-day conference, which was hosted by University of Vermont Extension in Burlington, Vermont, USA, on August 30 – September 1, 2022.
